BOTOX Cosmetic®
1) Will I see the effects of my BOTOX Cosmetic ® treatment right away?
You will start seeing the effects of BOTOX Cosmetic® in 3-4 days. Full effect of Botox® can take up to 2 weeks.
2) Why aren’t ALL lines treated with BOTOX Cosmetic® gone?
If your expression lines are lightly etched into your skin while your face is at rest, you may need a few sessions of Botox Cosmetic® to completely relax those lines. If your expression lines are deeply etched into your skin, you will see improvement in areas treated with Botox Cosmetic® . We will discuss your expectations of treatment results at your consultation. Botox Cosmetic® is administered every 3-1/2 to 4 months.
3) Will I bruise from my Botox Cosmetic® treatment?
Most people do not bruise from Botox Cosmetic® treatments. We advise that you book your treatment at least two weeks before any event. If you do bruise, we want you have time for bruising to fade.
4) What if I don’t like my Botox Cosmetic® treatment?
We start with very low doses of to prevent adverse outcomes and expressions. We “tweak” your treatment at two-week follow-up. If you are unsatisfied with your treatment, or seeing expressions that you do not like, please call us. Most Botox Cosmetic® treatments can be “tweaked” or “corrected”. We will get you in for an appointment ASAP!
5) What happens if I decide to stop using Botox Cosmetic®?
Most people love the relaxed look and softening of expression lines that Botox Cosmetic® provides. To maintain that effect Botox Cosmetic® is administered every 3-1/2 to-4 months. Many people feel they look aged after stopping Botox Cosmetic® treatments. If you decide to stop Botox Cosmetic® treatments, you will eventually see the return of expression lines that you were trying to eliminate. If you stop Botox Cosmetic® treatments after many years of using it, you will not only see those expression lines, but they will look deeper due to age and collagen loss.

Juvederm® Dermal Fillers
1) Will I see the effects of my Dermal Filler treatment right away?
Yes, you will see the effects right away. You may also see redness, swelling and some bruising. We advise that you book your treatment at least two weeks before any event. If you do bruise and or swell, we want you have time for healing.
2) I am still seeing bruising, swelling, and feeling product “unevenness” one week after treatment. Is this normal?
Yes, this is normal. Healing and smoothing can take up to two weeks to resolve after a dermal filler injection. That is why we schedule your follow-up appointment for two weeks after your treatment. We advise that you book your Dermal Filler treatment at least two weeks before any event. If you do bruise and or swell, we want you have time for healing. For questions or concerns about your treatment before your follow-up, please call us and we will get you in for an appointment ASAP!
3) My filler looks like it has dissolved quickly. Why is it gone?
Sometimes, we forget how we looked before a dermal filler treatment. That is why we take before and after photos. During your consultation, we discuss how much dermal filler will be needed correct to your satisfaction and the range of how long a dermal filler treatment might last. Repeated treatments at specific intervals will be necessary to maintain the look you desire. We realize these products are costly.
