BBL® is “Broad Band Light” and is not actually a laser. It is an intense white light that is filtered to a certain range of wavelengths which are dependent on what skin condition is being treated. BBL can be used on any skin type, including tan skin and any part of the body. The light energy delivered by BBL will gently heat the upper layers of your skin. The heat absorbed by the targeted areas will stimulate your skin cells to regenerate.

HERO stands for “High Energy Rapid Output” which leads to faster, safer, and more effective treatments Four times the energy levels of previous BBL/IPL devices, the hand piece is in constant motion, firing repeatedly (vs the stamping mode) This HERO technology allows for much shorter treatment times with increased cooling mechanisms for comfort and safety. Is BBL Hero Treatment Painful?

Treatments are not considered painful, particularly with the new HERO cooling technology. No numbing is needed. There is immediate darkening of the pigmentation which gradually forms a “coffee ground” appearance in a couple of days. The “coffee grounds” gradually fall off fully by day 5 on the face. Other areas, the flaking can take up to 10-14 days.

BBL/HERO is recommended in a series of 3 for optimal results.

Yearly treatments show that the DNA in the skin cells can be altered to represent a younger DNA profile The BBL can actually reverse the aging process in the treated area. This is why the treatment is called “Forever Young” BBL.
